According to the announcement, this integration will provide specialty clinics and Dental Service Organizations (DSOs) with instant cloud-based radiology reports and enhance diagnostic consistency and compliance across multiple locations; both parties stated that combining Planet DDS's cloud infrastructure with Orca Dental AI's imaging technology will streamline the clinical workflow and improve the case presentation process. According to Orca Dental AI, DSOs, Orthodontists, and specialty clinics connected to Cloud 9 can use real-time AI cephalometric analysis, instant cloud-based radiology reports, and DICOM and Intraoral Scanning (IOS) planning and diagnostic tools, with unified management across multiple locations; in addition, these features help shorten turnaround times and reduce operational expenses. Daniel Abraham, CEO and founder of Orca Dental AI, stated that this partnership brings CephX directly into specialists' daily workflows, shortening turnaround times and ensuring clinical consistency at scale. Eric Giesecke, CEO of Planet DDS, stated that the partnership aims to enable Orthodontists and specialists to leverage AI and cloud technology to focus their efforts on patient treatment.
