DentalGoodNews|On October 19, 2026, U.S. dental artificial intelligence (AI) service provider VideaHealth and Canadian Dental Practice Management Software (DPMS) platform ClearDent announced a partnership to integrate AI imaging analysis capabilities into the ClearDent platform for Canadian dental organizations. ClearDent stated that VideaHealth is the first AI imaging partner to launch through its new integration framework, "Embedded Experience." According to the joint announcement, radiographic images captured through ClearDent can be automatically analyzed by VideaHealth, with analysis results displayed in ClearDent Imaging alongside patient images and treatment information, eliminating the need for clinicians to manually search for records or images across multiple systems. To enable this integration, VideaHealth joined the ClearDent API Developer Program. The program is designed for approved technology partners to build integration solutions through the ClearDent API. Regarding regulatory qualifications and user scale, VideaHealth stated that its software has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance covering multiple dental AI indications, including pediatric patients as young as 3 years old; its caries detection function had previously received separate Health Canada clearance. According to VideaHealth, approximately 90,000 clinicians currently use its technology, including eight of the top ten dental groups in North America. ClearDent stated that it has served Canadian dental clinics since 2002, with its platform covering appointment scheduling, charting, treatment planning, billing, imaging, and patient communication. As of press time, none of the three announcements disclosed financial terms, launch timelines, pricing, or specific indication lists. Similar integrations of AI imaging tools with dental management software have also appeared in partnerships involving other companies. According to a previous report by DGN, on September 28 of this year, Orca Dental AI's CephX 2D/3D AI imaging suite was integrated into Planet DDS's orthodontic practice management system Cloud 9.
