DentalGoodNews|On August 10, 2026, dental education institution Spear Education (hereinafter referred to as "Spear") announced a partnership with VoiceStack, an AI communication platform for dental clinics, to embed front-office educational resources directly into the VoiceStack platform. Through this collaboration, Spear's front-office training courses will be built into the VoiceStack platform, allowing users to access corresponding courses while reviewing call analytics data. Under the partnership agreement, VoiceStack users can directly access select Spear front-office skills courses within the platform, covering practical training in case acceptance, scheduling management, and fee explanation, as well as standardized onboarding programs for new team members. Aimee Fletcher, Director of Strategic Partnerships at Spear, noted that front-office performance directly shapes patients' overall perception of a clinic, yet team members in these roles often lack systematic career development opportunities. This collaboration aims to build communication confidence among front-office teams by providing seamlessly embedded training resources for VoiceStack users, while offering clinics the necessary professional development pathways.
Additionally, VoiceStack's AI system can identify weaknesses in front-office performance, such as missed calls, unconverted opportunities, and inconsistent call handling. By combining communication insights with educational resources, clinics can more quickly identify coaching moments and equip front-office staff with practical tools to improve patient conversations and appointment conversion rates. Neil Hoover, Vice President of Partnerships at VoiceStack, summarized the dynamic between the two parties: "VoiceStack shows the current state, Spear provides the solution." He noted that clinics using the platform can already pinpoint where call attrition occurs, and can now directly access corresponding training content within the system to drive improvement.
